Konstandina Kouneva, a labour activist in Athens was the victim of an acid attack last week. Although no longer in danger, Konstandina has lost sight in one eye and will be permanently scarred.
The attack has prompted the occupation of public service offices which had cleaning contracts with the agency she worked for and had accused of illegal employment practices.

As I can see Mr.Teacher Dude you' r kinda prejudiced about Greek affairs. You published a dozen articles about the murder of Alexis last month, you r in every left-wing demonstration but u wrote nothin' about the shooting against a young police officer in Athens a couple of days ago...

Why would you expect a victim of police brutality to comment anything on his personal blog about a cop that almost got killed? He can play "journalist" and "report" on it but what personal thoughts about it would you expect him to express on his blog? I'd rather not read them - enough with "bacon" comments.

I'm a Greek citizen working abroad as an ESL teacher. I would like to thank you for you support article on K.Kouneva's case. That was a horrible and totally unprovoked crime that poses a threat to democracy and freedom of speech. As long as those criminals who have committed this are still free, the shame falls on all of us.
As for Anonymous and Dimitris Panagiotas, I can only say that you sound like two pathetic, bitter old men...
