Earthquake

That was scary. Just minutes ago the whole apartment began to shake and I dived out of the bedroom and onto the balcony. There must have been an earthquake somewhere in the vacinity and a pretty strong one at that. Half the neighbourhood have come out onto the street.

Just checked out the Greek blogs and it seems it was 4.o on the Richter scale, which is not much but it was very close to home and quite close to the surface, hence the dramatic effect. Luckily, it didn't last for long.

Sweet dreams? I think not.

Wow, that is scary. Didn't feel a thing over here-outside of the city. That's always such an uneasy feeling. Hope that you do get some rest.

I thought going on a balcony during an earthquake is a no-no...?

we were in a tavern, in bit-pazar. at first it was all silent, and then everybody started to clap their hands!
so, for me it was just amusing!

It was scary for us, we are just two kilometers from ground zero! I don't think I'll ever get used to them. It is the idea that once they start, for that first second you have no idea how bad it will be, and you don't know until it is over. I feel better now that we are in our house which is constructed to withstand them, but even so, there is something incredibly uneasy about the ground shaking.
